The race was delayed by an hour, which gave plenty of time for non-entrants to run the rapids. Most exciting was the rafter (final shots in gallery) who put in just above Gorilla, but popped out of the boat right afterwards, 1/3 of the way down the fall. He shook it off and ran the rest cleanly.
